Cool cat furniture features

Mounted at R & Company, in Manhattan’s TriBeCa neighborhood, OOPS is part of a series of annual guest-curated shows at the design gallery and includes 24 new pieces by the French designer. It marks Yovanovitch’s first public show at a U.S. gallery, and takes inspiration from natural materials and the work of the craftspeople who helped produce the furniture, lighting, pillows, and more.

Among our favorite pieces were Yovanovitch’s Papa, Mama, and Baby Bear chairs, a trio with a Grimms-esque allure. Another standout is the zig-zagging Stanley sofa, upholstered in don’t-call-it-millennial pink and complemented by spherical and pyramidal pillows.
